    Market Commentary - Pre Session

    Date: Mar-26-2025 08:39
Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are expected to open higher on March 26, taking cues from GIFT Nifty, which was trading around 23,760 earlier this morning.

Investors are likely to maintain the positive momentum in Indian stock markets, supported by gains in global markets amid expectations of a more lenient approach to the trade tariffs set to be introduced by the US administration on April 2.

On Tuesday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 78017.19 up by 32.81 points or by 0.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23668.65 up by 10.3 points or by 0.04 %.

On the global front, Asian stocks posted modest gains in early trading Wednesday as investors search for a clear direction amid weaker US consumer confidence and a late rally in US equities.

Wall Street stocks ended higher on Tuesday, with Apple rising and Nvidia dipping as investors assessed consumer sentiment data and bet on a more flexible trade policy stance from the Trump administration next week.

The S&P 500 climbed 0.16% to end the session at 5,776.65 points. The Nasdaq gained 0.46% to 18,271.86 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.01% to 42,587.50 points.
