Aditya Birla SL AMC Q4 net profit jumps 53.74% at Rs 206.66 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 206.66 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 134.42 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 53.74 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 23.19 per cent at Rs 359.53 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 291.85 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 15.76 per cent to Rs 156.26 crore from Rs 134.99 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 132.10 per cent at Rs 74.04 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 31.90 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 29.59 per cent to Rs 203.27 crore as against Rs 156.86 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.19 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 103.66 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.67 crore, while Taxation increased by 30.40 per cent at Rs 59.19 crore (Mar'23 Rs 45.39 crore).
