HDFC AMC Q4 net profit jumps 43.83% at Rs 541.09 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 541.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 376.20 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 43.83 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 28.56 per cent at Rs 695.43 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 540.95 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 19.76 per cent to Rs 156.17 crore from Rs 130.40 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 60.50 per cent at Rs 155.46 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 96.86 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 31.35 per cent to Rs 539.26 crore as against Rs 410.55 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.17 per cent in March quarter.
Interest declined by 2.52 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.32 crore, while Taxation increased by 19.40 per cent at Rs 138.00 crore (Mar'23 Rs 115.58 crore).
