Aditya Birla SL AMC Q3 net profit down 10.03% at Rs 165.01 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 165.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 183.41 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 10.03 per cent.
Net revenue of the company declined by 5.53 per cent at Rs 308.74 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 326.82 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 41.54 per cent to Rs 126.93 crore from Rs 89.68 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 160.89 per cent at Rs 48.89 crore versus (Dec'21 Rs 18.74 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 23.34 per cent to Rs 181.81 crore as against Rs 237.15 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 18.84 per cent in December quarter.
Interest declined by 18.42 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.93 crore, while Taxation decreased by 10.11 per cent at Rs 56.40 crore (Dec'21 Rs 62.74 crore).
