Indian benchmark indices continued to gain strength during the morning deals supported by buying in index heavyweights including Reliance Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra, UltraTech Cement , HCL Technologies Ltd. and Wipro Ltd among others.

At 10:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 62110.99 up by 238.37 points or by 0.39 % and then NSE Nifty was at 18388.8 up by 67.65 points or by 0.37 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 62141.95 and intraday low of 61911.61 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 18400.45 and intraday low of 18333.15

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2486.00,+1.95%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1115.55,+1.60%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 7711.90,+1.40%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1130.95,+1.33%), Wipro Ltd. (Rs. 399.25,+1.28%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 235.65,-0.95%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 815.95,-0.86%), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 2638.35,-0.43%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 918.00,-0.33%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 3114.45,-0.25%), among others.
