Rupee ends at 16 paise higher at 82.58 against US dollar

The Indian rupee ended 16 paise higher against US dollar on Friday on the back of strong gains in the domestic equity markets supported by foreign fund inflows.
The local unit closed at 82.58 (provisional), up 14 paise as compared to the previous close of 82.74.
