Domestic bourses continued to extend losses during the noon trading session amid weak cues from the global peers.

At 14:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80989.37 down by -878.18 points or by -1.07 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24736 down by -274.9 points or by -1.1 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81345.6 and intraday low of 80931.73 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24851.9 and intraday low of 24723.7

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1660.00,+1.19%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1729.85,+0.81%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1802.80,+0.54%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2496.15,+0.49%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 3107.55,+0.34%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12746.85,-4.51%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 1095.25,-4.31%), JSW Steel Ltd. (Rs. 899.15,-3.74%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2736.45,-3.28%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 158.10,-3.04%), among others.
