Indian benchmark indices gained strength during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. Bharti Airtel Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd. JSW Steel Ltd, Infosys Ltd. among others.

At 12:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80947.97 up by 908.17 points or by 1.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24686.95 up by 280.85 points or by 1.15 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81024.45 and intraday low of 80013.6 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24698.75 and intraday low of 24410.9

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1542.50,+3.70%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1500.00,+3.49%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 162.50,+3.21%), JSW Steel Ltd. (Rs. 902.30,+3.19%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1872.50,+2.58%), among others.
