Laxmi Organic Indust Q1 net profit up 22.06% at Rs 46.31 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 46.31 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 37.94 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 22.06 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.79 per cent at Rs 717.45 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 698.01 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 2.15 per cent to Rs 635.50 crore from Rs 622.15 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 95.02 per cent at Rs 12.15 crore versus (Jun'23 Rs 6.23 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 8.04 per cent to Rs 81.96 crore as against Rs 75.86 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 5.06 per cent in June quarter.
Interest declined by 53.13 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.07 crore, while Taxation increased by 40.18 per cent at Rs 23.97 crore (Jun'23 Rs 17.10 crore).
