Axtel Industries Q4 net profit down 52.12% at Rs 5.31 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 5.31 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 11.09 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 52.12 per cent.
Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 22.53 per cent at Rs 52.16 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 67.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 17.93 per cent to Rs 44.44 crore from Rs 54.15 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 73.57 per cent at Rs 0.60 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 2.27 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 41.43 per cent to Rs 7.72 crore as against Rs 13.18 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 24.46 per cent in March quarter.
Interest declined by 13.04 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.40 crore, while Taxation decreased by 50.46 per cent at Rs 1.62 crore (Mar'23 Rs 3.27 crore).
