MphasiS Q4 net profit down 20.66% at Rs 298.27 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 298.27 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 375.92 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 20.66 per cent.
Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 6.49 per cent at Rs 2,255.28 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,411.78 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.85 per cent to Rs 1,784.21 crore from Rs 1,875.22 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 47.50 per cent at Rs 41.67 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 28.25 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 12.21 per cent to Rs 471.07 crore as against Rs 536.56 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 6.11 per cent in March quarter.
Interest declined by 17.49 per cent y-o-y to Rs 15.62 crore, while Taxation increased by 21.73 per cent at Rs 150.38 crore (Mar'23 Rs 123.54 crore).
