Ceat posts Q3 net profit of Rs 41.81 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 41.81 crore compared to net loss of Rs 14.87 crore in the previous year quarter.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 12.67 per cent at Rs 2,711.07 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2,406.12 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 8.82 per cent to Rs 2,474.47 crore from Rs 2,273.88 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 84.47 per cent at Rs 2.93 crore versus (Dec'21 Rs 18.87 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 78.92 per cent to Rs 236.60 crore as against Rs 132.24 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 58.73 per cent in December quarter.
Interest grew by 20.22 per cent y-o-y to Rs 64.98 crore, while Taxation increased by 572.29 per cent at Rs 14.83 crore (Dec'21 Rs -3.14 crore).
