Equity markets recouped losses in the afternoon session on Friday, after Iran said it has no plans to counter retaliate against Israel, at least for now.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73027.61 up by 538.62 points or by 0.74 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22138.35 up by 142.5 points or by 0.65 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 73162.74 and intraday low of 71816.46 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22178.5 and intraday low of 21777.65

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 7134.45,+3.56%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12680.00,+2.29%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2069.70,+2.25%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1628.00,+2.12%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1525.05,+2.04%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1444.95,-1.55%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 961.70,-1.00%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3523.55,-0.77%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2444.05,-0.76%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3844.05,-0.50%), among others.
