The equity market bulls were back on Dalal Street. The S&P BSE Sensex soared mor than 1,000 points, while the Nifty 50 index rallied over 350 points.

At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81170.48 up by 1130.68 points or by 1.41 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24761.95 up by 355.85 points or by 1.46 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81288.89 and intraday low of 80013.6 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24818.25 and intraday low of 24410.9

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1499.60,+3.46%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1537.55,+3.37%), JSW Steel Ltd. (Rs. 901.75,+3.13%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 162.35,+3.11%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 503.80,+2.86%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2700.55,-0.32%), among others. Metal index was at 32256.67 up by 993.45 points or by 3.18%. NMDC Ltd.
