UTI AMC Q1 net profit up 12.95% at Rs 185.81 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 185.81 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 164.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 12.95 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.68 per cent at Rs 386.56 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 352.45 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 1.02 per cent to Rs 128.22 crore from Rs 126.92 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 1929.41 per cent at Rs 3.45 crore versus (Jun'23 Rs 0.17 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 14.55 per cent to Rs 258.34 crore as against Rs 225.53 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 4.44 per cent in June quarter.
Interest grew by 22.80 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.07 crore, while Taxation increased by 26.00 per cent at Rs 62.75 crore (Jun'23 Rs 49.80 crore).
