Domestic bourses continued to trade higher during the morning deals with auto, metal, PSU bank, power, capital goods indices up 1-2 percent. At 10:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 53263.74 up by 470.12 points or by 0.89 % and then NSE Nifty was at 15938.8 up by 156.65 points or by 0.99 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 53428.28 and intraday low of 52632.48 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 15977.95 and intraday low of 15739.65

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were State Bank of India (Rs. 459.00,+3.13%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 1127.55,+2.84%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 7295.10,+2.72%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 892.85,+2.39%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 5636.00,+2.19%), among others.
