Post-Session: Nifty above 22,300, Sensex up 655 pts; all sectors in the green

Market extended the winning run on the second consecutive day on March 28 with benchmark indices went closer to record high.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty included Bajaj Finserv, Grasim Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Finance and Eicher Motors, while losers were Shriram Finance, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, Reliance Industries and Britannia Industries.
All the sectoral indices ended in the green with auto, healthcare, metal, power, capital goods up 1 percent each, while oil & gas, Information Technology, bank, realty, FMCG gained 0.5 percent each.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 73651.35 up by 655.04 points or by 0.9 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22326.9 up by 203.25 points or by 0.92 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 74190.31 and intraday low of 73120.33 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22516 and intraday low of 22163.6
The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1643.05,+3.91%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 7240.35,+3.09%), State Bank of India (Rs. 752.60,+2.53%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1921.35,+2.26%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 277.05,+2.21%), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1048.30,-0.50%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2976.80,-0.37%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1250.40,-0.26%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1543.30,-0.26%), among others.
BSE Power index was at 6701.74 up by 111.46 points or by 1.69%. Suzlon Energy Ltd. (Rs. 40.47,+4.98%), Adani Power Ltd. (Rs. 533.70,+3.32%), JSW Energy Ltd. (Rs. 528.90,+2.34%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 277.05,+2.21%), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (Rs. 247.20,+1.77%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 4211 , shares advanced were 1949 while 2108 shares declined and 154 were unchanged.
