Indian benchmark indices continued to gain strength during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Bajaj Finance Ltd., Nestle India Ltd Larsen & Toubro Ltd. and State Bank of India among others.

At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 73962.08 up by 965.77 points or by 1.32 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22402.4 up by 278.75 points or by 1.26 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 73984.61 and intraday low of 73120.33 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 22424.35 and intraday low of 22163.6

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1651.45,+4.44%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 7240.05,+3.09%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2637.00,+2.71%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 3795.00,+2.40%), State Bank of India (Rs. 750.80,+2.28%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were among others. Power index was at 6704.6 up by 114.32 points or by 1.73%. Suzlon Energy Ltd. (Rs. 39.69,+2.96%), Adani Power Ltd.
