Domestic bourses continued to trade in green but were trading off day's high the morning deals. Positive global cues boosted the investors sentiment. The Nifty traded above the 18,800 level. IT shares extended gains for the third consecutive trading session. Trading is expected to be volatile due to expiry of weekly F&O contracts on the NSE.

At 10:55 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 63397.81 up by 298.16 points or by 0.47 % and then NSE Nifty was at 18832 up by 73.65 points or by 0.39 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 63583.07 and intraday low of 63319.14 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 18887.6 and intraday low of 18816.65

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3466.50,+2.18%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1098.90,+2.01%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1140.45,+1.76%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1659.00,+1.63%), Wipro Ltd. (Rs. 412.45,+1.35%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2651.45,-1.07%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1295.40,-0.90%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 946.90,-0.68%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 844.55,-0.48%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 338.55,-0.44%), among others.
