Domestic bourses continued to trade higher during the noon trading session supported by buying in index heavyweights including Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd. Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. among others.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 62872.26 up by 190.42 points or by 0.3 % and then NSE Nifty was at 18672.4 up by 54.35 points or by 0.29 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 62909.64 and intraday low of 62648.38 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 18679.55 and intraday low of 18616.55

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1288.90,+2.54%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 222.95,+1.66%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 107.40,+1.23%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 844.80,+1.09%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2659.90,+1.01%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1167.50,-1.06%), State Bank of India (Rs. 602.75,-0.93%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 19941.80,-0.88%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 339.90,-0.69%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1044.00,-0.53%), among others.

Metal index was at 20211.98 up by 343.04 points or by 1.73%. Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. (Rs. 532.00,+3.34%), APL Apollo Tubes Ltd. (Rs. 1107.95,+3.12%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.
