R K Swamy Q3 net profit up 1.73% at Rs 1.76 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.76 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 1.73 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 1.73 per cent.
Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 21.71 per cent at Rs 28.28 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 36.12 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 24.28 per cent to Rs 23.52 crore from Rs 31.06 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 224.24 per cent at Rs 1.07 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 0.33 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 5.73 per cent to Rs 4.77 crore as against Rs 5.06 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 20.36 per cent in December quarter.
Interest grew by 20.81 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.09 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.64 per cent at Rs 0.62 crore (Dec'22 Rs 0.61 crore).
