Headline : Indian Oil Corp Q4 net profit down 31.42% at Rs 6021.88 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 6,021.88 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 8781.30 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 31.42 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 43.30 per cent at Rs 1,77,287.31 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,23,714.04 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 50.31 per cent to Rs 1,65,659.79 crore from Rs 1,10,212.25 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 13.61 per cent at Rs 951.70 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1,101.67 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 13.88 per cent to Rs 11,627.52 crore as against Rs 13,501.79 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 39.87 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 49.80 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1,607.24 crore, while Taxation decreased by 4.93 per cent at Rs 2,062.80 crore (Mar'21 Rs 2,169.80 crore).
