Udaipur Cement Works Q4 net profit down 26.57% at Rs 16.22 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 16.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 22.09 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 26.57 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 16.23 per cent at Rs 254.41 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 218.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 19.24 per cent to Rs 206.89 crore from Rs 173.51 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 65.17 per cent at Rs 0.31 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 0.89 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 4.72 per cent to Rs 47.52 crore as against Rs 45.38 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 9.89 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 9.81 per cent y-o-y to Rs 12.42 crore, while Taxation increased by 375.86 per cent at Rs 6.40 crore (Mar'21 Rs -2.32 crore).
