Bharti Airtel posts Q4 net loss of Rs 2468.20 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 2468.20 crore compared to net profit of Rs 456.30 crore in the previous year quarter.ΓΏ
Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 19.38 per cent at Rs 19,494.80 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 16,329.50 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 12.20 per cent to Rs 9,791.20 crore from Rs 8,726.30 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 81.01 per cent at Rs 248.60 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 1,309.40 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 27.63 per cent to Rs 9,703.60 crore as against Rs 7,603.20 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 6.92 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 11.30 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3,547.90 crore, while Taxation decreased by 871.92 per cent at Rs -225.40 crore (Mar'21 Rs 29.20 crore).
