Dr. Lal Pathlabs Ltd Q4 net profit down 17.15% at Rs 65.20 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 65.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 78.70 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 17.15 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.67 per cent at Rs 414.90 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 404.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 6.67 per cent to Rs 310.10 crore from Rs 290.70 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 1.53 per cent at Rs 12.90 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 13.10 crore).
Operating Profit slipped by 7.58 per cent to Rs 104.80 crore as against Rs 113.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 9.98 per cent in March quarter.
Interest grew by 184.62 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.10 crore, while Taxation decreased by 23.46 per cent at Rs 19.90 crore (Mar'21 Rs 26.00 crore).
